Visiting Passport Seva Kendra - Passport Online Application Process

After you have submitted your Online Passport application and paid the application fee, Now it is the time to visit the Passport Seva Kendra for further proceedings where you have to give your biometric details alongwith Xerox copy of your Proof of Identity, Proof of Address & Proof of date of birth to process your online passport application. So, Let's dive in to Passport Seva kendra!

How To Locate Passport Seva Kendra Online?

Enter Your PIN Code & Locate Passport Seva Kendra-

You can locate Passport seva kendra online using Passport Seva Online portal. Do the following things to locate nearest PSK:-

1. Visit Passport Seva Online Portal.

2. Select Your Passport Office or You can also locate Passport seva kendra by your are PIN code.

3. Select the Passport office or enter the PIN code of your area-

4. Hit "Locate PSK/POPSK".

5. You will see list of your nearest passport seva kendra. It will have name , City, PSK/POPSK Address, If ATM Facility available & a link to Google Maps to easily locate Passport seva kendra.

Appointment Availability Status At Passport Seva Kendra-

Select Passport Office & Check Appointment Availibility-

-Select Office- Ahmedabad Amritsar Bareilly Bengaluru Bhopal Bhubaneswar Chandigarh Chennai Cochin Coimbatore Dehradun Delhi Ghaziabad Goa Guwahati Hyderabad Jaipur Jalandhar Jammu Kolkata Kozhikode Lucknow Madurai Mumbai Nagpur Patna Pune Raipur Ranchi Shimla Srinagar Surat Tiruchirappalli Trivandrum Vijayawada Visakhapatnam

You can check if appointment is available at a particular passport seva kendra under the concerned passport office from passport seva portal.

1. Visit Passport Seva Portal From Here.

2. Select The Passport Office from drop down menu-

3. Fill in the captcha & Hit "Check Appointment Availability".

4. Appointment availability status with list of available passport seva kendra with location, Passport Application type, Appointment quota (Tatkaal/Normal), Appointment date & Number of appointment released in that passport seva kendra (PSK) will be displayed.

Note:-

• Tatkaal & PCC appointments are not released on Thursdays and Fridays in certain RPOs.

• Actual date of appointment availability will be shown at the time of booking at "Schedule Appointment" page after logging in.

Visiting Passport Seva Kendra For Passport Online Application Process-

In Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) , You have to the following things in order to further process your Passport application-

a. Give your Fingerprints of both hands.

b. Give your Photograph (They will capture it by itself).

c. Submit Documents- Proof of Identity, Proof of Address & Proof of date of birth. Also carry originals of these documents as the Passport official at Passport seva kendra may ask you for it.

How To Know The Date & Time For Visit Of Passport Seva Kendra?

You must have received an email or SMS from Passport India with the date & time. Just look at it and visit the passport seva kendra 15 Minutes before the said time.
               If you have not received any such Email or SMS, do the following steps to know your time slot to visit passport seva kendra-

1 .Just Login into passport seva online portal.

2. Go to "View Saved/Submitted Applications"

3. Select your application & click on "Appointment History"-

4. You will see Your appointment details with address of passport seva kendra, Date and Time of Appointment , Appointment Id, Reporting Time & Appointment Booked Date and Time-

5. Capture an screenshot of this for your future reference.

6. Visit Passport Seva kendra to process your passport application & furnish all as required.

7. You can take help of Google Maps to locate your passport seva kendra.

Locate Your Nearest Passport Office From Passport Seva Portal-

You can locate your nearest passport office from passport seva portal. These office are called RPO, regional Passport Office where the officials process your online passport application. 

1. Visit Passport seva portal from here.

2. Click on the city/state you wish to know about its passport office address.

3. You will be redirected to the page of that Regional Passport Office. From the Main menu, go to Contact Us >> Passport >> Regional Passport Officer-

4. Address of that Passport Office will be displayed alongwith name of APO, Telephone Number, Email ID, Fax No., Name of the Officer of Grievance Cell , Contact Number of Grievance Cell. You can contact them.
